Tonight I talked with a U-M student named Jared Press. He actually got in touch with me through a professor friend to talk about jobs (He’s interested in urban planning and thinking about moving back to DC) but in the course of the conversation I found out he helps run a t-shirt company with a couple other U-M undergrads.
The company, called The Real Retro, sells t-shirt jerseys for what they refer to as “history’s starting lineup.” The roster ranges widely from Harriet Tubman to Issac Newton to Aphrodite. The shirts are also subtly customized — Lincoln plays for Illinois and Tubman for the Conductors. All in all, good stuff for history dorks like me. Check ‘em out.
