This is the personal website of Rob Goodspeed. I am an Assistant Professor of Urban Planning at the University of Michigan Taubman College of Architecture and Planning. More information about my research is available on my academic webpage.
I completed a PhD in urban planning at the M.I.T. Department of Urban Studies and Planning with the Urban Information Systems program group in 2013. Previously I worked as a research analyst at the Boston Metropolitan Area Planning Council, where I help operate the MetroBoston DataCommon website. I graduated from the University of Maryland Master of Community Planning program in spring of 2008.
I am the co-founder of Arbor Update, DCist.com, and Rethink College Park. I also contribute to Planetizen’s Interchange Blog.
