Thank you for your article about triangle parks. The one you describe as “lush” is certainly that and the credit goes to concerned and active neighbors like Phil Carney, the ANC Commissioner for that area. But, before he became an ANC Commissioner, he and designer Steve Aupperle have made a huge difference in the Dupont Circle neighborhood with their hard work and perseverence. It is too bad that others don’t take on such work.
