As anyone who has spent a decent amount of time playing SimCity can tell you, automobiles are not the best form of urban transport (it was a great strategy in the game to lay down train tracks for mass transit through your city, vastly reducing air pollution and increasing passenger throughput). 

During his race for Sheriff of Aspen, Hunter S. Thompson also shaved his head so that he could refer to his buzzcut-sporting rival as &quot;my long-haired opponent.&quot; The man was hilarious, and a genius.
