I moved to Shaw because my housing dollar goes much farther (I now share a house with one roommate, instead of three) and it is very centrally located near downtown, Dupont, U Street, and most importantly the Metro. It is also closer to where my friends live and the bars we frequent, so it means fewer expensive cab fares back to Glover Park.
