D.C. Blogger Meetup Report

Tonight was the monthly blogger meetup I’ve been hosting for almost a year now, and it was by far the best event yet with about 18 people turning out. We met at Pharaoh’s Bar and Grill, an Adams Morgan bar I like quite a bit that’s both centrally located but also a bit out of the way. The bartender, John, was very friendly and was a DCist reader who had read our review of the bar and seemed happy to have the extra business on what he feared could be a slow night – he told me he made $2 the night before.

In attendance were a few people who had come to meetups before, as well as a number of new faces, which was good to see. They included: John from Prod and Ponder (one of the most loyal attendees) , Michael from Articulatory Loop, Pat from DCblogs, Kim from Alt Hippo, Karen Fox, Wayan from Belly Button Window and DC Metblogs (who I found out had posted about the meetup and just posted this photo), Nikolas from a livejournal site I can located that looks like “atrustheotak.livejournal.com”, Robert of Team Wet Dog, Scott and Kristin from BrokeKid.net, Bill (no blog), Chuck of the Chutry Experiment, Alex of al3x.net, Brian from I495 Blues, and Shannon from DC Sleeps Alone Tonight/Playful in DC.

Phew. If I missed you leave a comment. What’s next? RSVP for next month, of course.
