The University plans to kick off the “Michigan Difference” fundraising campaign this Friday from noon till 1pm in Rackham Auditorium. Although they have not announced a goal, the University is calling it a “billion-plus fund-raising campaign,” and saying in a recent press release that “The campaign goal will exceed the $1.4 billion raised during the last campaign, which concluded in 1997.”
