I recieved this email from the Shelter Association of Washtenaw County, the nonprofit organization which operates the new homeless shelter on Huron Avenue:"Do you have a spare backpack lying around? The Shelter Association can use it! We are in need of backpacks (in good condition) that people who are homeless can use to carry necessary items during the day. If you'd like to donate yours, you can drop it by the Delonis Center at 312 W. Huron, Ann Arbor, any weekday from 9-5. Or if you need more information, call Deena at 662-2829 ext. 221.
