Lest Ann Arbor's ruling class think they've got it figured out:"Cities across the state have lost large numbers of adults age 25-34 from 1990 to 2000. According to the census:
- Lansing lost 12,067, or 54.7 percent from 1990 to 2000;
- East Lansing lost 27.6 percent or 4,601;
- Ypsilanti fared better, losing 3,544 from that age group, or 16.8 percent;
- Ann Arbor lost 20,340, or 10.7 percent of its 25-to-34 year olds;
- Nationwide, there was a 7.6 percent drop in that age group." (Source)
