The Michigan Journalism Fellows (now Knight-Wallace fellows) are hosting an event tomorrow at Kerrytown from 9am until 1pm titled "The Food Page: The Press and Public Policy" to discuss a variety of health, food, and nutrition related issues. The lengthy list of speakers includes Lynne Rosetto Kasper, host of Minnesota Public Radio's "The Splendid Table," Elizabeth Majestic, assistant secretary for health in the CDC, the Dean of the U-M school of Social Work, and Marion Nestle, a NYU professor and author of the book Food Politics: How the Food Industry Influences Nutrition and Health among others.> See U-M press release
